EdUHK International Conference on Linguistics (EICOL 2026)
Introduction
The inaugural EdUHK International Conference on Linguistics (EICOL) explores the critical intersections of language, technology, and mobility in an increasingly digital and interconnected world. Over two days, keynote speeches, roundtables, and workshops bring together three connected strands: corpus and computational linguistics, language learning and teaching, and multilingualism and mobility. The conference bridges theoretical frameworks with empirical applications in education and multilingual societies, examining how computational tools transform language description, technology reshapes pedagogy, and human mobility redraws the social contexts of language use. EICOL invites researchers, educators, and practitioners into dialogue across these boundaries, addressing the pressing linguistic challenges of a diverse and digital age.
